The Sprint Sierra Compass 597 Mobile Wireless Laptop Card requires subscriber to sign a two year Agreement with Sprint for $59.99 a month for unlimited data connection. This card retails for $249.99, but as a Preferred Customer, the card is available for only $99; plus Sprint will credit $50.00 on customer’s first invoice after customer sends in mail-in rebate to Sprint and Preferred will credit on the customer phone bill or mail customer a $49.99 refund within 60 days of activation. Sprint has a one-time activation fee of $36.00 for the first card and lower amounts for subsequent cards. The shipping and handling is $12 per order. Delivery in most cases is within 5 business days. First month’s service is billed at time of order. 

Card is capable of download speeds in the range of 600kbps to 1.4 Mbps and average upload speeds are 350 to 500 kbps according to Sprint.
